Said to have been written by S. S. Wesley while sat under a tree in a park in the town, this beautiful melody has been brought up to date by Kevin and was arranged for the Holsworthy Town Band to celebrate their Centenary. With it's modern feel and lilt this is a great addition to your concert programme.

A beautiful Japanese folksong telling the story of a young girl who was forcibly sent to work for a rich family on the other side of a mountain to where her village was. Every day as she worked with a baby on her back she was reminded of her family and sang this song to comfort herself.
